5.2 Emergency lowering by means of a battery
In order to be able to place the bed frame in the supine position in the event
of a power failure, an emergency lowering is installed, which is possible
thanks to the built-in 9 volt alkaline battery.
The lowering speed is then reduced. In the event of a power failure, the
battery is automatically turned on by pressing buttons 2 and 4 on the remote
control.
Although the battery allows multiple emergency lowering, for safety reasons,
we recommend that it be replaced after any emergency lowering, and at the
latest after 3 years, because then its capacity will decrease.
