When fitting, make sure
that the recess for the
screw remains free.
Step 4: Electrical connections
Make sure that the power supply to the appliance is disconnected before carrying
out any work on the appliance to avoid electric shock or injury or damage to the
appliance. After properly attaching the ceiling installation frame to the outdoor
component, make the following electrical connections:
1. Place a copper cable with earth (1.5 mm
junction box, do not connect it at this stage.
2. Run the power cord of the outdoor component to the side of the connection
box.
3. Remove the terminal box cover (2 screws) Take the power cord and lead it
through the relief clamp into the connection box (see middle picture).
4. Connect the power cord from the outdoor component to the brown cable,
the blue cable and the earth cable in the connection box. Do the same for the
cable to the power source. IMPORTANT: Connect the brown wire to the brown
wire, the blue wire to the blue wire and the earth wire to the earth cable.
5. Tighten the relief clamps to secure the cables. Do not tighten the clamps too
much. Reattach the cover to the terminal box.
6. Connect the three (or four) plugs and fasten the clamp (lower picture). The
plugs should be above the installation plate of the indoor component and not
higher than the clamp.
