Application

Sliding Mats are available in various sizes and versions, the correct size is determined on the basis of the patient's
functional capacities and the desired change in position. These are tubular Sliding Mats, where the specified length
is the length of the respective closed side. The inner surface consists of low friction material. The outer surface
consists of carbon-fibre reinforced latex-free material which has liquid-repellent properties.
The Sliding Mats not only allow the patient to be moved within the bed, they can also be used for many position
changes and transfers while lying down or sitting. The Sliding Mats PES/Carbon support the movement transitions
and are not intended to remain underneath the patient. They can be combined effectively with a sliding board,
turning disc, the raising aid or the support belt. If the patient is intended to continue lying on the product for a
longer time, select the corresponding product version made from Cotton/natural thicking.

Place the patient on their side.

Fold the Sliding Mat down halfway on the closed side.

Place the Sliding Mat against the back of the patient, the position may vary correspondingly.

Place the patient on their back.
