2.2 Function check

Transfer products are also subject to a natural ageing process. Inspect the equipment regularly and carefully, in
particular before each use. Ensure that the product is in sound condition and that the material and the seams are
not damaged. Check the product functionality by applying pressure to the handles and ensure that the material
withstands the load. The smooth surface of the special sliding material allows for easy sliding and moving. Check
these properties - ideally in comparison to a new product.
 Defective products may no longer be used!

3 Using the product

3.1 Indication and further use

Due to the wide range of possible applications, the indications cannot be tied to a specific clinical picture, since
Sliding Mats Caremaster are suitable for all applications involving people who require assistance. Thanks to the
reduced friction, the capabilities of the patient can be put to use when Sliding Mats Caremaster are used. The effort
required on the part of the user is reduced.
