The following reactions can be selected by hardware links, independent of network management
station reports:
-
shut down fans in case of smoke
-
acoustic or optical report in case of smoke
-
report of condensation removal
-
report of unauthorised door opening
-
shut down fans in case of vibrations (earthquake e.g.)
The following malfunction reports can be manually set using RMS software and sent via Ethernet:
-
internal temperature outside set range
-
fan failure
-
smoke in the cabinet
-
water leak
Following malfunction reports of fan control are linked with digital inputs in the basic variant:
-
fan failure
-
over temperature
-
door open
By using the viewer-software (provided with RMS) the settings and limits can be shown and
selected.
Details of your chosen option can be read in the attached wiring scheme and RMS documents.
3.7. Shut down server cabinet power supply (option)
It is possible to shut down the primary power supply via over temperature signal of the control
board. This shut down is effected by power switches at the power supply input. Reset is possible
by using the reset keys.
The necessary configuration can be found in the attached wiring scheme.
3.8. Installation of distribution to supply single servers (option)
Various power distribution systems can be supplied at customer request.
The following power supply options are possible.
-
single phase
-
three phase
-
separate single phases
-
different power supply feeds and
-
UPS supported networks
The server connections can be provided as fixed socket strips with different power cable and plug
systems. There is also a choice of different power outlets on the socket strips.
The various configurations can be found in the attached wiring scheme.
Various power distribution systems can be supplied at customer request.
