Back angle adjustment
Release the locking lever and pull out the safety locking pin located beneath the lever (Fig. 28). The backrest can now
be set to the desired angle. It must be ensured that the locking pin snaps back into place. Finally, return the locking lever
to the locked position once the adjustment has been made.
Note: The seat units has got a number of hole on the backrest into which the safety locking pin snaps.
When transporting the rehabilitation stroller in a vehicle, the safety locking pin must always be located in the lowest
hole (90° seat angle).

Lower leg length

Loosen the threaded pins at the side of the foot rest using the Allen wrench (Fig. 29). The foot rest can now be can be
infinitely adjusted. Finally, retighten the threaded pins once the adjustment has been made.
Foot angle
Loosen the four screws on the right and left on the underside of the foot rest. Adjust to the desired foot angle and
retighten the screws (Fig. 30).
Knee angle
Set the knee angle by loosening the wing nuts located on both toggle joints (Fig. 31).
Tip: The foot rest can be flipped up to facilitate transfer of the child.
Use as a seat in a motor vehicle
tRide has successfully passed the crash test according to the international ISO 7176/19 standard as well as ANSI/RESNA
WC/Vol. 1 – Section 19 and can be used as a seat in a motor vehicle.
Important: If the tRide is to be used as a seat in a motor vehicle, the following instructions are to be heeded.
tRide has been designed for transport in the forward direction. Whenever possible, the user should be placed on one of
the vehicle seats and the installed restraint system should be used.
Use only chassis / passenger restraint systems that are in accordance with ISO 10542 to secure the tRide to the floor of
the vehicle.

Note regarding safety: If the rehab stroller is used as a seat in a motor vehicle, the locking pin on the side of the chassis
must be engaged; this is also indicated by the symbol above (Fig. 32). In this way, the seat angle is locked in a reclined
position.
Preparing the tRide for transport:
1. Remove the following parts (if attached); abduction block, tray, sun and rain cover without leg blanket, sun umbrella,
grip tray, storage tray, accessory bag, and the contents of the basket.
2. Use the installed rails to correctly position the rehab stroller in the car in the forward direction. Actuate the parking
brake.
3. Make sure that the hip angle setting is fixed at 90°. To this end, the locking pin on the backrest must engage (Fig. 33)
