Instructions for Use – tRide
Abduction block (Fig. 43)
The abduction block helps spread the legs at the hip joint and position the thighs. It goes at the knees and prevents the
legs from being crossed.
Grip rail (Fig. 44)
The grip rail is affixed by the user and provides extra stability when sitting. The "sharply angled" model of the grip rail
can be used even closer or further away from the user.
Tray (Fig. 45)
The tray consists of a firm vent tray which is attached in front of the user. On the tray various therapeutic activities can
be done.
Lateral trunk supports, rigid (Fig. 46)
The rigid lateral trunk supports are affixed in the position needed on the back section and support the user's trunk on
the left and right sides. As a result, control of the trunk is improved and supported. The user can still move their arms.
Lateral trunk supports, flexible (Fig. 47)
The lateral trunk supports are affixed in the position needed on the back plate and support the user to the left and right
of the trunk. As a result, control of the trunk is improved and supported. The user can still move their arms. Both trunk
supports can be bent slightly forward and are connected with a belt. In this way the user has extra support at the front.
Frame padding (Fig. 48)
The frame padding is put along the lateral side posts of the push bar. They go a long way to protect fidgety users from
injuring themselves on the rolling chassis.
H-belt (Fig. 49)
The H-belt is a simple positioning aid for the upper body, especially for the shoulders and pelvis.
2-point pelvic belt (Fig. 50)
The 2-point pelvic belt is a simple positioning aid to stabilise the user's pelvic area. It goes horizontally across the user's
groin.
4-point pelvic belt (Fig. 51)
The 4-point pelvic belt is a simple positioning aid to stabilise the user's pelvic area. It goes horizontally across the user's
groin and is also fastened at each side under the seat.
Crotch strap (Fig. 52)
The crotch strap can only be used in combination with an H-belt or pelvic belt. It gives the user extra stability in the
pelvic area and prevents the user from slipping out of the belts.
Soft pelvic harness (Fig. 53)
The soft pelvic harness is a padded positioning aid for the pelvic area. It also supports the positioning of the thighs and
prevents the legs from being crossed.
Butterfly / chest harness (Fig. 54)
The butterfly / chest harness is a padded positioning aid for the upper body, especially for the shoulders and pelvis.
The "flexible" model is made of very soft material to prevent pressure marks.
Seat waistcoat (Fig. 55)
The seat waistcoat is a padded positioning aid for the upper body offering extra support for the user due to its large
surface. It can be opened easily at the front.
