Set rotation speed

The procedure for adjusting the rotation speed is described in detail in sections
"Operating mode SETpressure" on page 127 and "Operating mode AUTOaccurate" on
page 129. Please also observe the information in this section!
WARNING:
Danger due to rotating parts
When operating the device without a guard hood, there is a risk of
contact with rotating parts. Loose clothing, jewelry and open hair
can be pulled in!

Danger due to spritating bath fluid
At high rotation speeds, the bath fluid can spray away from the
evaporation flask by forming film and/or swan out of the heating
bath. There is a risk of scalding and/or contamination.

Danger due to spilling over bath fluid
Even when the guard hood is closed, there is a risk that the bath
fluid will spill out of the heating bath at high rotational speeds.

The speed of the evaporation flask affects the rate of distillation
that can be achieved during the distillation process: The higher the
rotation speed, the faster and more gentle the distillation material
is processed.
Follow the recommendations below!
If possible, operate the device with the guard hood closed or
under a closed laboratory fume hood.
Never touch rotating parts with your hands. Do not bend over
rotating parts.
Wear tight-fitting work clothes, place jewelry before starting
work, tie long hair under a hair net or under a suitable head
cover.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
If possible, operate the device with the guard hood closed.
Adjust the speed of rotation of the evaporation flask according
to the recommendations in this section.
