Device description

Heating Bath

The heating bath is moved up or down with a motor lift. The control is carried out via
the device software and the control panel of the device.
In normal operation, the heating bath is moved to THE UPPER
END POSITION in order to dip the flask into the heating bath
fluid.
To replace the evaporation flask, to fill the heating bath and to carry
out cleaning, maintenance or repair work, etc., the heating bath is
moved to THE LOWER END POSITION .
The heating bath lift only works if the level sensor is correctly
mounted in the heating bath.

Moving the heating bath manually

– The movement stops as soon as you release the button.
– The movement stops automatically at the upper or lower end position.
CAUTION: Risk of slipping, risk of damage to property
When the evaporation flask is immersed, the already filled heating
bath fluid is displaced and the fluid level in the heating bath rises!
Especially when using oil, the device and the surrounding floor
surface can be heavily contaminated by overflowing heating bath
fluid.

When filling the heating bath, make sure that the maximum
filling quantity is not exceeded.
When filling the heating bath, observe the instructions for the
proper procedure in section "Fill/empty the heating bath" on
page 112.
