Device description
After locking the rotational axis, the following message appears on
the device display:
A process start is only possible when the rotational axis is unlocked
and the warning message on the display is confirmed with
➜ To open the EASY LOCK, first press in the clamping
lever lock to unlock the clamping lever.
➜
Pull the unlocked clamping lever up to the stop until
it is held in the open position (2) by the pin on the
threaded bolt of the pretensioning mechanism.
The sliding segments are released, the flask can be
moved but not removed!
➜ Grip the clamping lever with your hand and turn the
outer ring of the EASY LOCK downwards up to the
stop (3). When doing so, the clamping lever must
not be pressed against the outer ring.
The EASY LOCK is now fully open and the flask and
the PTFE seal can be inserted or removed.
➜ Insert a suitable evaporation flask (see also
"Handling the flask support" on page 102)
➜
Grip the clamping lever with your hand and use it
to pull the outer ring of the EASY LOCK upwards up
to the stop.
The sliding segments are pre-tensioned, the flask
can be moved, but is securely held.
➜ Then press the clamping lever against the outer
ring with normal manual force until the clamping
lever lock audibly engages.
