BT OPERATION

BT wireless technology is a short-range radio technology that enables
wireless communication between different types of digital devices such
as cell phones or computers. It operates at a range of about 10 meters (30
feet), eliminating the hassle of using cables to connect these devices. Since
BT technology does not require line-of-sight between the communicating
devices, it is not necessary to set up the transmitting device and the
receiver on line-of-sight as in infrared technology.
Communication system and BT profile of this device
There are many available BT profiles that describe the basic communication
methods, specific functions and applications to enable communication
between devices.
This unit supports the following standards: Communication System: BT
Specification Version 2.1 BT + Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) Profile: A2DP
(Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) A2DP enables audio streaming from
an A2DP-equipped BT stereo audio source device (such as a cell phone) to
this unit. By converting a stereo wireless audio signal to an analog audio
signal, you can listen to the audio through this speaker system. AVRCP
(Audio / Video Remote Control Profile) is a technology that allows a single
remote control to control all BT-enabled audio-video devices that a user can
access.
Notes when operating the device with a cell phone
• This unit cannot be used to talk through the phone even if there is a BT
connection to a cell phone.
• Please refer to the cell phone's instruction manual for details on how to
operate your cell phone while transmitting audio via a BT connection.
