Be sure to disconnect any load from the output terminals, before energizing the instrument

Turn the Ampere Control Knob (31, Abb. 1) fully CW to ensure that the output current reaches a maximum output.

Connect the AC power cable to the recess power receptacle, located on the rear panel, and plug it into the three-
contact electrical outlet.

Press the Power ON/OFF Switch (39, Abb. 1) to turn on
*
The LED indicators "5 V 2 A" and "15 V 1 A" will light.

In order to use the variable voltage or current, you can choose the Voltage/Ampere Select switch (38, Abb. 1).
While observing the displayed figures on the LED (40, Abb. 1), set your voltage in need, by turning the voltage
control knob (33, Abb. 1).

In need of limiting the current for protection your device under test, set your limit current by the current control
knob (31, Abb. 1). During operation of the DPS, an excessive current over your setting current will lead the
voltage to drop down and the current limit indicator (35, Abb. 1) will light.
Note:
This DC power supply has the output terminals isolated from the grounding terminal (chassis ground). However, the
0-30 V/0-3 A output terminal has been connected by the short-bar between the ground terminal (36, Abb. 1) and the
(-) output connector of the terminal at the factory.
6.4. Operating the Digital-Multimeter
The Digital Multimeter is powered by a 9V AC/DC adaptor, and fully isolated from the F/C, F/G, DPS and the chassis.
The following symbols are imprinted on the front panel of the meter to remind you of measuring limitation and safety:
The max. current, that you can measure at his terminal is 20 A AC/DC. This terminal is fuse
protected by S 250 V 15 A fuse. When using this range with hight current, keep the duty cycle to 30
seconds on load and 15 minutes off load.
The max. current, that you can measure at this terminal is 400 mA AC/DC. This terminal is fuse
protected by F 250 V 800 mA fuse.
To avoid electric shock or instrument damage, do not connect the common input COM and V/Ω-
terminal to any source of more than 500 V with respect to earth ground.
The max. voltage this meter can measure is 1000 V DC and 750 V AC.
Be exceptionally careful when measuring high voltages.
DO NOT TOUCH THE TERMINALS OR TEST LEAD ENDS.
