WARNING
Use of multiple sockets
Risk of fire, short circuit, electrical shock, reduced level of safety
Whenever possible, avoid the use of multiple sockets
If required, use medically approved multiple sockets
Never connect multiple sockets in series
Do not cover multiple sockets (leads to heat accumulation)
Do not place multiple sockets on the floor
Use traction relief
Devices should be connected to a shared multiple socket only if they are all
intended to be used as part of the medical electrical system
WARNING
Electromagnetic interactions
Possible impaired function and image quality
Observe the EMC brochure supplied
Make sure that neighboring devices are not causing reciprocal electromag-
netic interference
Perform a post-installation function check
Personnel responsible for setting up or installing medical electrical equipment
must possess the necessary qualifications and be familiar with the safety regula-
tions in place at the installation location and the applicable official regulations.
