Emergency flap or the insertion part
is not correctly installed
Emergency flap is clogged up with
deposits (dirt)
Emergency flap is damaged
Backflow flap is clogged up with
deposits (dirt)
Backflow flap is damaged
Housing cover is not installed
correctly
Cover seal is damaged
Red locking screw from the housing
cover is loose
Seal of the red locking screw is
damaged
Remedy/ies
Check the correct position and

installation of the emergency flap
in combination with the insertion
part
Inspecting and cleaning the

backflow unit, Section 5.2
Replace the emergency flap

Replace the backlow flap

Remove the housing cover and

install it again,
Replace the housing cover

immediately
Tighten the red locking screw

with 5 – 6 N·m.
