5 REGULAR INSPECTIONS AND SERVICING

5.1 INTERVALS FOR INSPECTIONS AND SERVICING

Only double backflow stop (type 2): Monthly inspection performed by the

owner or his responsible representative: Open and close the emergency flap,
Section 4.1 "Activating the emergency flap".
Six-monthly inspection and servicing may only be performed by properly qualified

personnel, Section 8 "Maintenance log".
Replace worn or damaged parts,

5.2 INSPECTING AND CLEANING THE BACKFLOW UNIT

Dismantling housing cover with one or two
quick-locking-levers:
Fold up the quick-locking-levers of the
Î
housing cover(1, 2) and then push the
levers to the middle until the housing
cover lifts.
Remove housing cover (3).
Î
Dismantling housing cover with three
quick-locking-levers:
Fold up the quick-locking-levers of the
Î
housing cover in a vertical position.
Push the outer quick-locking-levers to the
Î
middle until the housing cover lifts.
Remove housing cover.
Î
Remove the insertion part and backflow
Î
flap(s) from the housing.
Single backflow stop (type 0 ):
/
1 backflow flap.
Double backflow stop (type 2):
/
2 backflow flaps, one backflow
flap combined with a hand-locking
emergency flap.
