    Kapitel 1. Produktbeschreibung Das IBM Serial ATA-Festplattenlaufwerk (SATA) kann nur in Computern mit Serial ATA-Architektur installiert werden. Das IBM SATA-Festplattenlaufwerk wird in einer Konfiguration mit einem Laufwerk pro Kabel mit der SATA-Schnittstelle ver- bunden, so dass anders als bei Parallel ATA-Konfigurationen keine Brückenein- stellungen für Master- und Slave-Einstellungen erforderlich sind.

Berühren Sie das Laufwerk möglichst wenig, um Beschädigun- gen und statische Entladungen zu vermeiden. 1. Öffnen Sie die antistatische Schutzhülle erst unmittelbar vor der Installation des Laufwerks.
