Welding
Prerequisites
• Pipes, pipe ends and welding joints are dry and free from dirt
• Pipe ends are prepared in accordance with electrofusion
sleeve coupling instructions 994.170.00.0
• Pipe surfaces are prepared in accordance with electrofusion
tape instructions 996.781.00.0
CAUTION
Faulty welding
Pipes to be welded must be kept in a tension-free position
during the welding process and the cooling-down phase
Avoid air draughts through the pipe interior
The device is equipped with an automatic mechanism which
prevents double welding when a sleeve connection cable is
connected.
