SLOPE MODE (12)
Slopes can be set manually up to 5° (± 9 %).
Select the SLOPE function with button (12). Press button (12) once to select the SLOPE mode and a
second time for the MAN mode.
Choose the relevant axis (X, Y, Z) by pressing button (14) of the remote control. The axis chosen will be
indicated by the LEDs (7). Set the slope with the buttons (15) of the remote control. Press button (14)
to quit the SLOPE function.
MAN and SLOPE have to be actived on the instrument and can be controlled with the buttons of the
remote control.
SLOPE
Horizontal operation
One axis (X or Y) can be set manually, the other axis is automatically self-levelled.
Vertical operation
The direction of the X axis can be set manually, the Y axis is self-levelled.
In both horizontal and vertical operation the TILT and / or V-W-S function can be activated.
MAN
Horizontal operation
In this mode both (X and / or Y) axes can be set manually.
Vertical operation
Both (X and Z) axes can be set manually. In horizontal and vertical operation TILT and V-W-S cannot be
activated.
Press button (12) to quit the SOPE / MAN mode.
After leaving the slope function the TILT function is not active. If required press button (3).

SCANNING MODE

Press button (16) to select the scanning function. The scan angle is 180°.
Press button (16) again to change the scan angle:
180° -> 90° -> 45°-> 10° -> 45° -> 90° -> 180°.
Press the buttons (17) to orientate the scan line in a clockwise and anticlockwise direction.
Press button (16) to quit the scanning function.
