USING THE KETTLE

Before using the kettle for the first time, wipe the inside and outside of the
kettle with a damp cloth.
First use
• Place the stand on a suitable surface. The kettle must be dry before use.
• Wind up any excess power cord.
• Open the cover.
• Fill with the required amount of water, but not above the MAX mark.
• Close the cover until it clicks into place. The automatic shut-off will work
properly only then. Rub the outside of the boiler dry.
• Place the kettle on the stand.
• Plug the power plug into a power outlet.
• Press the on/off switch down to the ON position. The power indicator lights up
and the water is heated.
• The on/off switch only engages when the kettle is on the stand
• Do not consume the water that is boiled first. Pour it away.
• Be careful not to spill water on the stand.
• When you want to reheat water, check the water level (above 0.75 L), add
more water if necessary, put the kettle back on the stand and press the on/off
switch down to the ON position. You can turn off the kettle when the desired
temperature has been reached.
• When filling, make sure that the kettle is completely filled with hot steam.
Keep your face, hands, etc. away from the opening.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always disconnect the water boiler from the power supply before cleaning.
Allow the water boiler to cool before cleaning.
• Never clean the kettle or stand under running water or submerge any part
under water.
• Periodically rinse the inside of the kettle with clean water.
• Clean the exterior with a damp cloth only. Do not use strong or abrasive
agents.
