The NC/NO status refers to the status with no voltage.
As soon as the product is powered, the warning relay is
triggered and the contact changes status.
Sequencing function (2 units)
To connect the two units in sequencing, proceed as
follows:
– Remove the evaporator fan plate of the two units.
– Break the micro-jointed hole placed in the upper part
to the right of the fan plate of both plates.
– Connect the supplied cable on the first unit to the DI4
connector of the XCB board.
– Make the sequencing cable pass through the hole
previously made on the plate and reposition the latter.
EN – Make the sequencing cable pass through the hole in
the plate of the second unit.
– Connect the cable on the second unit to the DI4 con-
nector of the XCB board.
– Reposition the plate.
– Perform the sequencing parameters change proce-
dure at chapter "9. Control and operating logic".
It is recommended for the cable to be shielded and
passed inside metal pipes. No other cables outside the
signal cables may be inside these pipes.
MODBUS function
Proceed as follows to connect the ACASPM serial port:
• Remove the evaporator fan plate.
• Break the micro-jointed hole placed in the upper part
to the right of the fan plate.
• Connect the supplied cable to the BMS connector of
the XCB board.
• Make the cable pass through the hole previously
made on the plate and reposition the latter.
• Connect the other end of the cable to the key.
• Connect the user system to the key + and
- parameters.
• Perform the modbus parameters change procedure
at chapter "9. Control and operating logic".
Remote probe installation
– Remove the evaporator fan plate.
– Break the micro-jointed hole placed in the upper part
to the right of the fan plate.
– Disconnect the probe on connector B1 and connect
the new ACARES probe.
– Make the probe pass through the hole previously
made on the plate and reposition the latter.
– Perform the SEM2 parameters change procedure at
chapter "9. Control and operating logic".

WARNING
It is required to place the probe in an area hit by the
air recirculation and to prevent the air conditioner
from drawing in air at a temperature below the min-
imum limit indicated in the data sheet.
WARNING
Before carrying out operations on the unit oper-
ating logic, carefully read chapter "9. Control and
operating logic".
DANGER
Failure to comply with the aforementioned proce-
dures and regulations, in addition to compromising
operation of the unit, shall result in the forfeiture of
the warranty.

8. Commissioning

WARNING
Before commissioning, install and connect the
plant as described in the chapter "7. Installation".
DANGER
Never operate the unit if a loss of refrigerant fluid
is detected. If oil traces are present inside or out-
side the unit, a symptom of refrigerant leaks, the
circuit must be carefully checked before start-
ing the unit and, if required, the ELDON– Tech-
nical Support Service
WARNING
The ON-OFF key on the display is only used to put
the unit in stand-by. Therefore it must not be con-
sidered as a safety feature to turn off the unit before
maintenance operations.
WARNING
In case of initial start-up or restart after long pause
periods, if the air conditioner has remained inactive
in environments with temperatures below 0°C, it is
required to preheat the compressor casing for 2
hours.
