Filter installation

The units can be fitted with an air filter located on the
condensing side (environment side) which requires
regular cleaning maintenance, in order to ensure cor-
rect operation of the air conditioner. Failure to perform
maintenance of the filter compromises operation of the
air conditioner since the maximum room temperature is
downgraded. It is recommended to perform a quarterly
periodic check of the filter cleaning status. If the unit
operates in particularly dusty/dirty environments, more
frequent cleaning operations are required.
CUVN Unit: connect the filter, by means of the two tabs
located at the bottom, to the panel's intake grid. Place
the filter on the panel and make sure the two magnets
are positioned.
CUON Unit: the filter must be placed on the back of

the panel. Proceed as follows to install it: remove the
panel screws, disconnect the earth cable and remove
the panel. Make the air filter slide along the side guides.
Finally reconnect the earth cable, reposition the panel
and fix it by using the screws previously removed.

WARNING
Disconnect power from the unit before removing
the front panel (DANGER moving parts).
Cleaning instructions: clean the filter with hot water.
Do not use caustic substances. After washing, dry by
using a jet of air. The operation must be performed with
filter not installed.
Display connection (for CUON units)
Proceed as follows: insert the minifit connector to the
connector on the back and connect the screw terminal
on the display. If desired, the display can be inserted
into the metal support (supplied) for wall mounting.

functions
Signal types
General alarm: when an alarm condition occurs, the
corresponding message is shown on the display and
the digital output changes status. 1 pole type with
exchange contact (max 8A resistive and 2A inductive,
250Vac). The alarm is also present in the absence of
main power supply.
Remote command: contact, free from voltage, the
"stb" message is displayed.
• The door position switch can be connected only if
potential-free, so without any external voltage.
• The contact of door position switch must be open
when the door is open.
