The three-phase units are connected at the factory for
a supply voltage of 460V-60Hz. To power the air condi-
tioner at 400V / 50Hz proceed as follows:
• Unscrew the fixing screws of the rear plate and
remove it.
• Move the wire connected to terminal X10:2 and con-
nect it to terminal X10:1.
• Reposition the plate and screw the fixing screws.

CUVN03: connect the cable (L=3 m) to the main power
supply.
EN
CUVN/CUON 05÷59: connect the power supply and
the signals (alarm and remote control) to the connector
supplied and insert it into the connector on the back of
the air conditioner.

To perform the electrical connections, the cable duct
must be passed through the hole (a) on the back of
the unit and connected to the terminal block and to
the earth cable. The hole (b) is dedicated to the inlet of
the cable duct for signals and/or remote control, it is
required to break the micro-jointed hole if you wish to
use it. The connection terminal block (c) and the earth
cable (d) are positioned internally.
CUVN03: to access the terminal block, remove the
34
front panel by disconnecting the earth cable and the
evaporator compartment closing plate. After perform-
ing the connection, close the plate and the panel by
reconnecting the earth cable.
CUVN/CUON 05÷59: remove the rear plate to access
the terminal block. After performing the connection,
reclose the plate.

For further information please refer to the unit's wiring
diagram.
The product does not have overvoltage or undervolt-
age protection. The user must provide effective protec-
tion measures on the power supply side against over-
voltage, undervoltage and electrocution. The nominal
voltage is indicated on the plate affixed on the unit,
chapter 6, and technical data sheets.
The power supply voltages may be:
• 48VDC(36÷59);
• 115V-60Hz, 230V-50/60Hz for mono-phase units;
• 400V-50Hz, 460V-60Hz for two-phase units;
