1. General Information

Pursuant to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE, the
following information is provided.
Informative Data on the Model:

nets with IP54 or IP55 protection rate depending on the
rate of protection stated.

shown on the technical plate of the unit.
EN This manual contains general information on use
and maintenance for all models of air conditioners,
regardless of size or power supply. Attached to this
manual, the following is provided with the product:
the wiring diagram,
the testing report
Should integrating information be required, they
shall be inserted in specific attachments. This
manual is addressed to specialised and quali-
fied technicians responsible for moving, assem-
bling, installing and servicing the product and to
professionally qualified and experienced person-
nel. To do the operations in a safety and correct
way, the operator must use the necessaries PPE.
The manual provides information for proper man-
agement, handling, installation and maintenance of
the product and for its correct disposal. Additionally,
information is provided regarding safety considera-
tions, unpacking and checking, handling precautions,
information on residual hazards and emergency situa-
tions, components and operating principle, unit iden-
tification. This manual, along with the rest of the prod-
uct documentation, are integral part of the product.
It must all be kept in a dry and clean place, through-
out the life of the model. In case of loss or damage
to the manual, a dossier may be obtained for a fee
from the ELDON customer service, citing the mod-
el and serial number shown on the technical plate.
This manual and the rest of the documentation reflect
the state of the art at the time the product is marketed
and must not be considered inadequate for the sole
reason that they have not been updated following
the development of design and construction meth-
ods. ELDON reserves the right to update the prod-
uct and relevant documentation without notice and
without having to update previously sold products
and manuals, except in exceptional circumstances.
To request or receive any updates of the documentation,
as well as corrections that are considered integral parts
of the manual, contact the ELDON AfterSales offices at
the number shown on the first pages, citing the model

In case of sale, report to ELDON the address of the new
owner to allow the transmission of any manual sup-
plements. Otherwise, ELDON is relieved of any liability.

2. Safety Considerations

These instructions must be carefully read and respect-
ed before installing and using the product. The product
is designed and built according to the state of the art
and in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
The installation and operation of the cooling units may
be hazardous as it consists of a pressurised system and
with moving and electrical components. Operations
on the units must only be performed by experienced,
qualified and authorised personnel. All installation and
maintenance operations must be performed in full
compliance with the specific national accident-preven-
tion regulations. Specifically, reference is made to acci-
dent-prevention regulations for electrical installations,
for cooling units and equipment. Before intervening on
any unit, observe the instructions in this manual and the
rest of the documentation provided with the unit, check
the plate data and any other precaution to ensure maxi-
mum safety. The products cannot be used in conditions
outside the limits indicated in the data plate. ELDON
is not liable for any damage caused by improper use.
The operator is fully responsible for this risk. The com-
pressor must always remain in vertical position. The
products cannot be used or transported in a position
other than the one for which they have been designed
and are not intended to be installed in premises for
retail and residential use. The products are exclusively
designed for cooling (heating where required) the con-
trol cabinets. The products are not intended for use by
people (including children) whose physical, sensory or
mental abilities are reduced or with lack of experience
or knowledge unless they have been able to benefit,
