Getting started
There is a voltage of 12 V/DC at a cigarette lighter connector of the adapter. The centre contact
of the cigarette lighter connector is the positive pole (+), the external contact the negative pole
(-).
The cigarette lighter plug of the consumer device must
show the same polarity, see fi gure to the right.
If necessary, follow the operating manual of the consumer
device you want to operate via the adapter.
Operating a consumer device:
• Connect the cigarette lighter plug of the consumer device to the cigarette lighter connector of
the adapter.
• Connect the mains plug to a mains socket.
Unplug the consumer device:
• Disconnect the adapter from the mains socket.
• Disconnect the cigarette lighter plug of the consumer device from the cigarette lighter con-
nector of the adapter.
Cleaning
Before cleaning the device, the adapter is to be disconnected from the mains voltage; pull it
out of the mains socket. Afterwards, disconnect any other connected consumer device from
the adapter.
Clean the product with a soft, clean and dry cloth. Do not use aggressive detergents, or there
could be changes in colour.
Dust can be very easily removed using a soft, clean, long-bristled brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Keep the inner contacts of the cigarette lighter connector of the adapter free from impurities!
