11. Configuration with software

After inserting the battery, configure the data logger either with software or online through the website. Online configu-
ration does not require software installation.
When configuring, select logging parameters such as sample rate, start time, recording duration, pause function, LED
flash interval, enable/disable LC display, and PDF report settings.
Configuration terms and commands may differ between the software and the website.
The following instructions and explanations are based on the terms and commands found on the configura-
tion website.
a) Installing the software
• Insert the software CD into the DVD drive of your computer.
• The installation will start automatically. If it does not, go to your DVD drive directory, and open the installation file
"autorun.exe".
• Choose your desired language.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. Depending on your operating system, a restart may
be required.
• For more information, refer to the software operating instructions on the CD (section 3).
• The supplied software is the Voltsoft standard version. The professional version (Voltsoft data logger, part no.
101333) is a separate, optional accessory. If you buy the professional version, you will receive a licence key that
unlocks the standard version. Follow the steps in the Voltsoft operating instructions to register and upgrade to the
professional version.
