Vertically offset inlets
Vertically offset KG inlets DN 160 on the shaft riser pipe are
created as follows:
1. Cut out the shaft extension pipe at the required point
using a suitable annular core drill bit.
2. Fit the connecting collar AWADOCK composite pipe type B
(for more information on this, see the technical information
Sewer Technology, Print Number 296650).
3. Insert the KG pipe DN 160.
Vertically offset KG inlets DN 200 or 250 or 315 are created
with the help of a corresponding T-piece for the shaft riser
pipe as follows:
1. Between the first and second external rib from the top of
the riser, apply lubricant and fit the corresponding sealing
ring to the shaft riser and to the outside of the riser.
2. Position the T-piece, align it and push it onto the shaft
riser pipe.
3. Between the first and second external rib from the
bottom of the riser, apply lubricant and fit the corresponding
sealing ring to the shaft riser and to the outside of the riser.
4. Slide the riser pipe onto the T-piece.
