05 Installation

The components must not be thrown or pushed into the
excavation pit. The shaft elements must be installed horizon-
tally. It is recommended that this is checked with a spirit
level.
The exact position and height of the elements must be
checked before filling.

Inserting the shaft base

For using the C3 system shaft type X
without a sand trap, the C3 shaft
base is to be inserted from the
outside into the round shaft
opening.
If required, the shaft element C3
type 8.6X must first be rotated by
90° or 180°. Attention must be paid
here to the correct positioning of
the shaft base (see the figure). The
direction arrows in the middle of the floor (underside) must
be perpendicular to the four outer walls of the shaft element.
