The RAUSIKKO shaft adapter is made of PE-HD and can be
welded to commonly used PE-HD plastic liner sheets. If liner
sheets of a material other than, for example, EPDM are used,
a suitable jointing technique must be ensured at the site.

Connecting KG pipes/RAUSIKKO pipes

In the area of the pipe connections,
the geotextile filter is cut open in a
cross pattern.
The alignment of the connecting
elements is then to be checked
again. The pipes must be pushed in
centrically up to the stop on the
inside. During this process, it is to
be ensured that the RAUSIKKO C3
is not moved. When using a lever, a
piece of squared timber is to be put
underneath it so that the pipes are not damaged when inser-
ting them.
If there is a retention basin, an adapter of PE-HD with a
suitable spigot and a welding collar must be installed and
firmly welded to the plastic liner sheet.
