To remove the player from the USB cradle
Press RELEASE.
Notes
• If the player is connected to the computer for
a long time while charging, charging may stop
to prevent the temperature of the player from
increasing too much. In this case, the CHG lamp
goes out. Remove the player from the USB cradle
and start charging again after a while.
• If the player will not be used for three months or
more, set the BUILT-IN BATTERY switch to OFF
to prevent degradation of the battery.
• Charge the battery in an ambient temperature of
between 5 to 35ºC (41 to 95ºF).
Notes on the AC power adaptor
• Use only the AC power adaptor and USB
cradle supplied with the player. Do not use
any other AC power adaptor since this may
cause the player to malfunction.
• The player is not disconnected from the
AC power source (mains) as long as it is
connected to the wall outlet, even if the
player itself has been turned off.
• If you are not going to use the player for a
long time, be sure to disconnect the power
supply. To remove the AC power adaptor
from the wall outlet, grasp the adaptor plug
itself; never pull the cord.

The remaining power of the battery is
indicated in the display. As the black indicator
RELEASE
section decreases, the remaining power is
depleted further.
