Electrical devices can represent a dan-
g er to pets and livesto ck. In additio n,
animals can also cause damag e to the
device. Fo r this reaso n yo u sho uld keep
animals away fro m electrical devices at
all times.

shock due to moisture
N ever place the device anywhere that it
co uld fall into water while plug g ed in.
Pro tect the device fro m mo isture, water
dro ps and water splashes.
The device, the cable and the mains
plug must no t be immersed in water o r
any o ther liquids.
If liquid g ets into the device, remo ve the
mains plug immediately. Have the de-
vice checked befo re reusing .
If the device has fallen into water, pull
o ut the mains plug immediately, and
o nly then remo ve the device fro m the
water. Do no t use the device ag ain, and
have it checked by a specialist wo rk-
sho p.
N ever to uch the device with wet hands.

Do not use the device if the device or the
po wer cable has any visible damage, or if
the device has previo usly been dro pped.
L ay the po wer cable such that no o ne
can step o n it, g et caug ht o n it, o r trip
o ver it.
O nly co nnect the mains plug to a pro p-
erly installed and easily accessible wall
so cket who se vo ltag e co rrespo nds to
the specificatio ns o n the rating plate.
The wall so cket must still be easily ac-
cessible after co nnectio n.
Ensure that the po wer cable canno t be
damaged by sharp edges o r ho t spo ts.
Do no t wrap the po wer cable aro und the
device (Danger! Risk o f cable damage!).
Ensure that the po wer cable canno t be
trapped o r crushed.
T o pull the mains plug o ut o f the wall
so cket, always pull o n the mains plug ,
and never o n the po wer cable.
Disco nnect the mains plug fro m the wall
so cket ...

T o avo id any risk, do no t make mo difi-

Ensure that the air inlet and o utlet are al-
ways kept clear. Keep the air inlet away
fro m lo ng hair o r o bjects that co uld g et
sucked in.
This device is pro vided with an o ver-
heating pro tectio n. In the event o f o ver-
heating , e.g . because the air inlet o r
o utlet is co vered, the device switches o ff
auto matically. In this case, set the o n/
0
o ff switch to
(o ff), pull the mains plug
o ut o f the wall so cket and allo w the de-
vice to co o l do wn adequately. Ensure
that no hair o r fo reig n bo dies are blo ck-
