Figure 8.1 to 8.4 describes the assembly of the individual components:
The assembly of the TEUFELBERGER SKC EVO system may only be carried out by a competent per-
son in personal protective equipment against falls from a height. The following assembly instructions
must be followed exactly. The acceptance protocol must be filled in completely!
Required tool:
• 2x 24 open-end wrench
• 2x 19 open-end wrench (or 1x 19 ring/ratchet wrench)
• 1x small ratchet with 13 mm socket (or cordless screwdriver with 13 mm socket)
• 1x bolt cutter to shorten wire rope
• 1x tape measure
• 1x permanent marker
• 1x lubricant for screw fittings
8.1 Mounting the top ladder attachment:
1. Mount the ring nut on the flat bar with hexagon bolt and nut in the
desired hole. The hexagon nut is locked against the ring nut!
3. Now mount the 3 clamping plates with the 6
U-bolts. To do this, hold the plates in front of the flat
bar and the ladder rungs, and pass 2 threaded shack-
les each through the holes in the clamping plates from
behind. The U-bolts enclose the ladder rungs in the
process. Then put on the washers and screw on the
M8 stop nuts (use lubricant!). Tighten all stop nuts
firmly.

2. Now measure the centre of the ladder and mark it on the
top 3 rungs. Hang the flat bar with the uncoiled side on the top
rung. Attention! This is only to facilitate the assembly! The flat
bar must nevertheless be secured against accidental falls.
