Connecting the external battery module

A maximum of one battery module may be connected.
Batteries can pose an electric shock risk or catch fire due to
high short-circuit currents. Therefore the procedure for con-
necting the external battery module must be strictly complied
with.
9. Remove the front cover from the UPS system and release the
ribbon cable from the display of the front cover (see Figure 7).

10. Disconnect the internal battery module inserts (see Figure 8).
