Bitte lesen Sie die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch. Bei
Fragen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Arzt oder Fachhandel von dem Sie dieses
Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
Zweckbestimmung
Bei diesem Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um eine komprimierende
Handgelenkbandage zur Stützung des Handgelenks.
Indikationen
Tendinitis/Tendovaginitis, Karpaltunnelsyndrom (CTS), Reizzustände, Arthrose
der Handwurzel.
Kontraindikationen
Periphere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit (PAVK), Lymphabflussstörungen
auch unklare Weichteilschwellungen körperfern des angelegten Hilfsmittels,
Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der versorgten Körperregion,
Erkrankungen der Haut im versorgten Körperabschnitt, Latexallergie
Anwendungsrisiken / Wichtige Hinweise
Die Auswahl der geeigneten Größe und eine Einweisung erfolgt durch das
Fachpersonal, von dem Sie das Medizinprodukt erhalten haben.
– Medizinprodukt vor radiologischen Untersuchungen ablegen
– bei längeren Ruhephasen ablegen z. B. beim Schlafen
– bei Taubheitsgefühl Medizinprodukt lockern oder ggf. abnehmen
– bei anhaltenden Beschwerden den Arzt oder Fachhandel aufsuchen
– Medizinprodukt indikationsgerecht einsetzen
– gleichzeitige Nutzung anderer Produkte nur nach Rücksprache mit Ihrem Arzt
– keine Änderungen am Produkt vornehmen
– nicht auf offenen Wunden tragen
– nicht verwenden bei Unverträglichkeiten gegen eines der verwendeten
Materialien
– kein Wiedereinsatz – dieses Hilfsmittel ist zur Versorgung eines Patienten
bestimmt
– während der Tragedauer der Bandage: keine lokale Anwendung von Cremes
oder Salben im Bereich des angelegten Hilfsmittels – kann Material zerstören
Anziehanleitung
Die volare Schiene ist im Auslieferungszustand noch nicht platziert. Um diese
richtig zu platzieren, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Öffnen Sie den Reißverschluss und halten Sie die Bandage so, dass Sie das
Etikett lesen können, und der Reißverschluss zu Ihnen zeigt.
Verwendung der Bandage für die linke Hand: Schieben Sie die Schiene mit
der Biegung voran in die linke Schienentasche. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die
Vertiefung in der Handfläche anliegen muss. Zum Schluss schieben Sie das
hintere Ende der Lasche über die Schiene.
Verwendung der Bandage für die rechte Hand: Schieben Sie die Schiene mit
der Biegung voran in die rechte Schienentasche. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die
Vertiefung in der Handfläche anliegen muss. Zum Schluss schieben Sie das
hintere Ende der Lasche über die Schiene.
Durch Versetzen der volaren Schiene in die gegenüberliegende
Schienentasche kann die Bandage auf der anderen Seite getragen werden.
Öffnen Sie den Reißverschluss und legen Sie die Bandage an das betroffene
Handgelenk an und führen Sie dabei den Daumen durch die vorgesehene
Daumenöffnung. Schließen Sie nun den Reißverschluss. Die Schiene sollte
entlang der Unterarm- / Handinnenseite entlanglaufen.
Das beiliegende Stabilo-Flauschband kann individuell dosiert angelegt
werden. Dazu befestigen Sie das Stabilo-Flauschband mit dem schmalen

Intended purpose
This medical device is a compression wrist support for supporting the wrist.
Indications
Tendinitis/tenosynovitis, carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), irritations, carpal
arthrosis
Contraindications
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), lymph drainage disorders,
also unclear soft tissue swellings distal to the aid positioned, sensory and
circulatory disorders with the region of the body treated, skin diseases in the
part of the body treated, latex allergy.
Application risks/Important notes
The expert staff from whom you have received the medical device will select
the appropriate size and instruct you regarding its use.
– remove the medical device prior to radiological examinations
– remove it during longer periods of rest, e.g. when sleeping
– in case of numbness, loosen the medical device and remove it if necessary
– in case of persistent complaints, consult the physician or specialist retailer
– use the medical device in accordance with therapeutic needs
– only use other products simultaneously after consultation with your physician
– do not make any changes to the product
– do not wear it on open wounds
– do not use in case of intolerance of one of the materials used
– no re-use – this medical aid is intended for treating one patient
– whilst wearing the support, please neither use any creams nor ointments on
or around it as they can destroy the material
Fitting instructions
When delivered, the palm splint is not yet placed. To place it correctly,
proceed as follows:
Open the zip and hold the support so that you can read the label and the zip
points in your direction.
Using the support for the left hand: push the splint into the left splint bag, with
the bend up front. Please observe that the recess must lie flush in the palm.
Finally, push the rear end of the flap over the splint.
Using the support for the right hand: Push the splint into the right splint bag,
with the bend up front. Please observe that the recess must lie flush in the
palm. Finally, push the rear end of the flap over the splint.
Move the palm splint to the opposite splint bag if it is to be worn on the
other side.
Open the zip and place the support on the metacarpophalangeal joint
affected and guide the thumb through the intended thumb opening at the
same time. Then, close the zip. The splint should run along the lower arm/
surface of the palm.
The Stabilo fleece strap included can be fitted individually dosed. For this,
attach the Stabilo fleece strap to the velour on the support intended for this
purpose using the narrow Velcro strip. The Stabilo fleece strap can then be
twisted around the wrist circumferentially.
Klett an dem dafür vorgesehenen Velours an der Bandage. Das Stabilo-
Flauschband kann nun zirkulär um das Handgelenk gewickelt werden.
Ablegen
Zum Ablegen der Bandage lockern Sie das Stabilo-Flauschband. Öffnen Sie
nun den Reißverschluss, fassen Sie die Schiene an der Handfläche und ziehen
Sie die Bandage über die Finger ab.
Materialzusammensetzung
Polyamid (PA), Elastodien / Latex (LA), Viskose (CV)
Die genaue Materialzusammensetzung entnehmen Sie bitte dem eingenähten
Textiletikett.
Das Produkt enthält Latex und kann allergische Reaktionen auslösen.
Reinigungshinweise
Schonwaschgang Nicht chemisch reinigen
Nicht im Wäschetrockner trocknen
Keinen Weichspüler verwenden. In Form ziehen und an der Luft trocknen.
Kunststoffschiene vor dem Waschen entnehmen. Klettverschluss schließen,
um Beschädigungen an anderen Wäschestücken zu vermeiden.
Gewährleistung
Für das erworbene Produkt gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen des
Landes, in dem Sie das Produkt bezogen haben. Bitte wenden Sie sich
an Ihren Fachhandel, sollten Sie einen Gewährleistungsfall vermuten.
Bitte das Produkt vor Einreichung eines Gewährleistungsfalles reinigen.
Wurden beiliegende Hinweise der Gebrauchsanweisung nicht ausreichend
beachtet, so kann die Gewährleistung beeinträchtigt werden bzw. entfallen.
Ausgeschlossen ist eine Gewährleistung bei nicht indikationsgerechter
Anwendung, Nichtbeachtung der Anwendungsrisiken, -hinweise sowie
eigenmächtig vorgenommenen Änderungen am Produkt.
Nutzungsdauer / Lebensdauer des Produkts
Die Lebensdauer des Medizinprodukts wird durch den natürlichen Verschleiß
bei sach- und anwendungsgemäßem Umgang bestimmt.
Meldepflicht
Kommt es bei der Anwendung des Medizinproduktes zu einer
schwerwiegenden Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustandes, dann
melden Sie dies Ihrem Fachhändler oder uns als Hersteller sowie dem BfArM
(Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte).

Removal
To remove the support, loosen the Stabilo fleece strap. Then, open the zip,
grasp the splint in the palm area and pull the support off over the fingers.
Material composition
Polyamide (PA), elastodiene/latex (LA), viscose (CV)
The sewn in textile label provides the precise material composition.
The product contains latex and can trigger allergic reactions.
Cleaning information
Delicate wash Do not clean chemically
Do not dry in a tumble dryer
Do not use fabric conditioner. Stretch back into shape and dry in the fresh air.
Remove the plastic splint before washing. Close the Velcro fastening to avoid
damage to other laundry items.
Guarantee
The legal regulations of the country in which you acquired the product apply
to the purchased product. Please contact your specialist retailer if you suspect
a warranty claim. Please clean the product before submitting a warranty
claim. If the enclosed instructions for use have not been properly observed,
the warranty may be impaired or cancelled. The warranty does not cover use
of the product inappropriate for the indication, non-observance of application
risks, instructions and unauthorised modifications to the product.
Useful life/Lifetime of the product
The lifetime of the medical device is determined by its natural wear and tear if
treated appropriately and as recommended.
Duty of notification
If a serious worsening of the state of health occurs when using the medical
device, you are obliged to notify the specialist dealer or us as the manufacturer
and the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

Disposal
Upon the termination of use, the product must be disposed of in accordance
