CHANGING YOUR PIN-CODE
A Premiere parental control PIN-code is
supplied with your smartcard. You need the
PIN-code to unlock locked programmes so
that you can watch and hear them. See
page 20 for details on how to unlock
programmes.
We recommend that you change this PIN-
code to one you will easily remember but will
be able to keep secret, as described below.
Press Menü to display the Main menu.
Highlight Premiere menu then press OK to
display the Premiere menu.
Highlight Change PIN-code then press OK to
display the first of the Change Premiere PIN-
code screens.
Use the number buttons on your remote
control to enter the four digits of your current
PIN-code. (The first time you do this, the
current PIN-code is the one that was supplied
with your smartcard.) To maintain secrecy,
stars appear instead of the numbers.
If you make a mistake while entering your PIN-
code, press the
more digits.
When you have entered all four digits
correctly, press OK.
On the next screen, use the number buttons
to enter the four digits of a new PIN-code,
then press OK.

PREMIERE PIN-CODE

Note: Your PIN-code must not have all four
digits the same. Codes like 0000 or 3333 will
not be allowed.
On the next screen, use the number buttons
to enter the four digits of your new PIN-code
again, then press OK.
Your new PIN-code is saved and the Premiere
menu is redisplayed.
Press Exit to remove menus from the screen.
Note: If you forget your PIN-code, ring
Premiere Service.
