2.1.4 Starting installation

Click on the "Install" button.
During the installation, the status and current installation steps are shown.
Amongst other things, the following actions take place during installation:
▪ The specified destination folder is created or an already available old
ZF-TESTMAN version is deleted.
▪ The required sub-directories and files are created in the target folder, e.g.
MT1, WebSync, GDS3000, Datalogger, Diagram-Explorer, and Register.
▪ If there is already a ZF-TESTMAN installation, the directory "GDS3000"
(normally in C:\GDS3000) is moved to the selected target folder since there

might be files created by the user in the directory "GDS3000".
▪ Additionally, the required registrations are executed on the computer and the
corresponding links are created on the desktop and in the start menu.
▪ To complete the installation and to ensure that the latest client is installed,
please synchronize via WebSync (refer to Chapter 2.3, Description of the
ZF-WebSync application).
