2 .6 Misuse

Use with defective parts
•
Use in explosive or inflammable environments
•
Outdoor use
•
Use with high humidity and / or direct solar radiation

without approval by HellermannTyton
•
Use of spare parts and accessories that were not
tested and approved by HellermannTyton
•
Installation on an unsuitable base.
2 .7 Operator obligations
The operator must:

observe and comply with the respectively applicable
national accident prevention regulations and health
and safety regulations.
•
provide the qualified personnel with the required
protective equipment and check, maintain and replace
damaged parts according to the regulations.
2 .8 Personnel qualification
Underage persons of trainees may only perform work
under the supervision of an experienced qualified
personnel and with the express consent of the operator.

2 .8 .1 Qualified personnel for operation
The qualified personnel for advanced operation are
assigned with the following tasks and responsibilities:

Operating the tool and the bench mount
•
Elimination of faults or initiation of measures to
eliminate faults
•
Cleaning the tool and the bench mount
Due to their specialised training or practical experience,
this personnel ensures proper handling.
2 .8 .2 Qualified personnel for servicing and
maintenance
Servicing and maintenance may only be performed by
qualified personnel. Due to their specialised training, this
personnel has sufficient knowledge about the tool or the
bench mount and can assess its safe working condition.
Moreover, the personnel is familiar with the following
rules and regulations:
•
Relevant national health and safety regulations
•
Accident prevention regulations
•
Generally recognised rules of the technology,
provisions and standards
2 .8 .3 Trained electrician
Work on the electrical supply and on live components
may only be performed by a trained electrician.
2 .8 .4 Authorised qualified personnel for repairs
and inspection
Repairs and safety inspections may only be performed by
a service technician from HellermannTyton or a service
technician authorised by HellermannTyton.
