a) Before switching on the device, install all the
safety covers that may have been removed
for troubleshooting purposes.
b) Check all the safety devices before switching
on the device.

When cleaning and maintaining the device, you
may injure yourself on sharp edges, or through
inhaling or coming into contact with toxic sub-
stances.
a) Wear protective gloves and respiratory pro-
tection.

maintenance
Insufficient maintenance leads to higher wear and
expensive repairs.
a) Carry out the necessary maintenance work in
accordance with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
b) Observe the manufacturer's instructions for
the maintenance of mechanical device com-
ponents.
c) In the event of damage to the mechanical
equipment, shut down the device and arrange
for professional repair using original spare
parts.

mance of routine maintenance. Without careful
routine maintenance, your device might not work
safely and at full capacity.

Clean the device

The cleaning intervals for the device depend on
the actual operating conditions. Therefore check
the device regularly and clean it as required.

Risk of injury from inhaling toxic sub-
stances
Depending on the actual operating conditions, the
components of the device may become contami-
nated with mould or other toxic substances.
a) When cleaning the device, wear respiratory
protection.
NOTICE
Suitable cleaning agents
You can obtain suitable cleaning agents from your
dealer or directly from HEYLO.
– If the condensate is contaminated, the evapo-
rator's cooling coils can no longer dissipate the
heat. The cooling coils becomes badly soiled
when used in dusty environments.
– Regularly check the electrical devices for de-
fects or damage.
– In order to work correctly and reliably, the de-
vice's air filter must be regularly checked and
cleaned.
– If the device is operated on construction sites,
it must be checked and cleaned after each
use; replace the air filter at least once a week.
