5 Receiving and transporting

5 Receiving and transporting
Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2!
5.1 Receiving the machine
The machine is delivered by the manufacturer
complete and packed.

Unpack the machine and check the enclosed
delivery slip to make sure all parts have been
delivered.
The scope of delivery includes
Machine
Pad drive plate (mounted)
Pad

In case of damage, contact the transport
company promptly!
3.
If necessary, report any problems to the
manufacturer immediately!
Complaints at a later date cannot be
acknowledged!

5.2 Transporting the machine

The machine may only be transported if it has
been switched off, is disconnected from the
mains, and the tool is at a standstill!
Do not lift any additional loads together with the
machine!
The release lever must not be actuated during
transportation [5, Fig. A]!
Risk of injury!
During transport, the specified limit values for
lifting and carrying must be observed!
Use devices for lashing and transporting the unit
that have been rated to handle its full weight
and dimensions of the machine! Observe weight
data on packaging or in the accompanying
documentation!
The machine must not be lifted by the guide
bar [13, Fig. B]!

Risk of injury from automatically moving
gearbox parts under the housing!
Do not reach under the housing [! Fig. A] (Also
when the machine is not switched off or
disconnected from the mains power supply)!
Risk of injury from the strut!
Do not reach between the strut and the housing
[! Fig. A]!
The suspended machine can fall or tip over and
cause serious injuries.
The machine has a weight of about 50 kg.
Raising, transporting, and lowering the machine
may be carried out only by 2 persons together.
The machine may be carried only by the carrier
handle [37] [! Fig. F]!
Wear safety shoes!
Wear protective gloves!
Lift the load only as high as necessary!
Do not step under the raised machine!
Avoid swinging the machine back and forth!
Maintain a safe distance!
Proceed with special care and caution!
The machine can be fastened to pallets for transport.
The machine can be relocated over shorter distances
in the tipped position with the transport wheels.

Ending the operation (! Chapter 3.3, page 18).

Fasten all loose parts to the machine.
The power line can be coiled between the
handle [3] and the bracket [10] [Fig. G].

Either (over shorter distances):
Tip the machine (! Chapter 4.1, page 19)
and use the transport wheels [16] to
transport to the desired location, where it
can then be set down.
or (for longer
transport):
The machine can be fastened to pallets for
transportation.
