Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2!
Maintenance work may only be performed by
trained personnel! They must be familiar with
the dangers associated with such work, protect
themselves, and avoid danger!
When working on the machine (set-up,
maintenance, service, repair, cleaning, etc.), the
power supply of the machine has to be
disconnected from the mains
(Pull the power plug from the socket)!
Perform cleaning and maintenance work in
accordance with the operating manual and
check the safety equipment for completeness
and functionality.

4.1 Tilting the machine

The vertical position of the guide bar is intended
for tool changes, maintenance and transport.
Before tilting the machine, always make sure
that it is on an even, level floor surface!
1.
Pull the power plug [12] from the socket.
2.
Place the guide bar [13] in an upright position
(! Chapter 3.1, as of pos. 5., page 17).
3.
If necessary, press the watering lever [6] and
empty the tank [9].
4.
Tip the machine backwards and place it on the
floor (! Fig. D).

4.2 Mounting/Removing tools

There are many different tools and accessories
available from the manufacturer that are tailored to
the machine for cleaning, polishing, wet and dry
grinding, crystallizing, and stripping.
The consistency of the surface to be treated deter‐
mines the type or composition of the tools to be used.

Single-disc tools are mounted directly onto the
gearbox [26] or by means of a grinding plate
(optional).

Stop operation (! Chapter 3.3, page 18).

Tilt the machine (! Chapter 4.1, page 19).

either for using a pad (A)
a.
Attach the pad drive plate [28] with the
cover disk [29] and the knob screws [30] to
the gearbox [26].
b.
Attach the corresponding pad onto the pad
drive plate (Velcro strips).
or for using a brush (B)
Attach the brush [32] with the cover
disk [29] and the knob screws [30] to the
gearbox [26].
or for using a grinding wheel (C)
The displayed assembly tools [27] are
needed:
— Socket wrench 10 mm
— Allen key 5 mm
— Cross-head screwdriver
a.
Attach the grinding plate [33] with 5
hexagon socket screws (with washers) to
the gearbox [26].
b.
Attach the grinding wheel holder [34] with
the cross-head screws to the grinding
plate.
c.
Fasten the corresponding grinding
wheel [35] with the fastening disk [36] to
the grinding wheel holder
(hexagon socket screw).
4.
Set the machine upright.
5.
Press the suction and splash guard ring [25]
onto the housing [1].
The suction and splash guard ring should be
rest on the floor during operation.
Disassembly is carried out in the respectively
"
reverse order.
4.3 Cleaning the machine
Disconnect the power supply of the machine
from the mains.
Risk of damage and injury!
Do not use compressed air or high pressure
cleaners to clean the machine!
The machine may be cleaned only with an
extractor unit and possibly a brush.
Wear respiratory protection and protective
clothing!
