Replace the old battery with a new one; be sure
not to damage the cables. Be sure to insert the
batteries in the correct direction. This is indicated
in the battery compartment. Use only recharge-
able batteries of the recommended type (see
"Technical data").

Charging

The battery charging period using the solar cell de-

pends on the intensity of the sunlight and the angle
incidence of the light on the solar cell. Place the so-
lar cell as perpendicular as possible to the angle of
light incidence. In this way you will receive the high-
est light levels. The rechargeable battery only charges
when the product is switched on. For this purpose,

Maintenance and cleaning

The LEDs cannot be replaced. The solar fairy lights
garden set is maintenance-free, except for any ne-
cessary change of rechargeable battery.
Routinely clean the solar fairy lights garden
set with a dry, lint-free cloth. Use a slightly
moist cloth if very dirty.

Troubleshooting

Note: The device contains sensitive electronic
components. Radio transmitting equipment in the
immediate vicinity may therefore cause interference.
If you notice the device is malfunctioning, remove
any sources of interference from the area around
the device.
