Clean the equipment before storing it. After cleaning, store the equipment in a dry and clean place, away from direct
heat and sunlight. The equipment should be stored in a closed container or cabinet, protected from dust, light, va-
pors, chemical agents and as far away from heat sources as possible. A properly stored, unused blower will function
even after a long period of storage.
The following storage temperatures are best maintained for
the complete equipment.
The Multimask Pro is heavy waste. Contaminated parts or a contaminated Multimask Pro, as well as used filters are
hazardous waste and must be disposed of depending on the filtered materials (gases and particles).
The choice of headboard or equipment depends on the working conditions, the work tasks and the prescribed pro-
tection factor.
• Field of application: See DGUV rule 112-192 / BGR 190 (ZH 1/701) Rules for the use of breathing apparatus.
• See also BGI 504-26 (ZH1/600.26) Suitability for respiratory protection (occupational medical examination).
Filter units are divided into equipment classes according to their respiratory protection performance. The following
Table 1 applies:
Device class
Helmets / Hoods / Suit with blower and particle filters
TH2P
TH3P
Helmets / hoods / suit with blower and gas filters (*2)
TH2 Gas filter class 1,2,3
TH3 Gas filter class 1,2,3
The specifications also apply analogously to combination filters.
Isolating devices are divided into equipment classes according to their respiratory protection performance. The
following table 2 applies:
Device class
Helmets / Hoods / Suit with compressed air control valve
2A / 2B
3A / 3B
VdgW: multiple of the limit value, DGUV rule 112-190 Use of breathing apparatus
GW1 are e.g. the limit values in the air at the workplace listed in TRGS 900 - MAK and TRK values (MAK = maximum workplace concentration; TRK = technical
standard concentration).
(* 2) Unless the maximum permissible concentrations for gas filters in blower filter units of 0.05 vol-% in gas filter class 1, 0.1 vol-% in gas filter class 2 and 0.5 vol-%
in gas filter class 3, based on the gas absorption capacity, are already exceeded.
Leakage: Permissible maximum percentage for the total inward leakage
