4.3 Maintenance tasks

Disassembly and replacement of spare parts
Below are some ordinary maintenance operations that can be performed directly by the user. Maintenance tasks that
cannot be performed by the user are highlighted in the text and must be carried out at the manufacturer's factory or
at authorized service centers.
Click Face Seal
Disassembly Click face seal:
Carefully pull the face seal out of the Multimask Pro at the top of the frame (do not pull on the foam, otherwise the seal will be
damaged). Fig. 7.0
Assembly Click face seal:
Mount the frame of the new face seal centrally in the mask frame of the Multimask Pro. Then evenly mount / press the rest of the
click face seal into the mask frame of the Multimask Pro.
Instructions:
• The Click face seal must be pressed into the Multimask Pro with the frame. Fig. 7.1
• The frame of the click seal is pressed into the center of the mask frame with the triangle. Fig. 7.1
• Then press the click seal around the mask frame. Fig. 7.1
• The Click Seal must be mounted correctly, otherwise sufficient protection cannot be guaranteed.
Neoprene Face Seal
Disassembly Neoprene Face Seal: Carefully pull the face seal out of the Multimask. Fig. 8.0
Assembly Neoprene Face Seal: Mount the face seal with the sealing profile, at the top of the label into the triangle at the mask
frame and the black side of the neoprene facing outwards into the Multimask Pro. Then evenly mount the rest of the sealing profile
into the joint of the Multimask Pro.
Instructions:
Press the face seal with the profile into the Multimask Pro.. Fig. 8.1

• The lighter side of the face seal must face into the Multimask Pro. The black side must face outwards (towards the face).
• The label on the seal must be pressed in the center of the triangle of the Multimask Pro. Fig. 8.2
• Press the right side of the seal into the Multimask Pro up to the height of the buckle. Starting from the starting point, press
the seal counterclockwise into the Multimask Pro up to the height of the buckle. Then press the rest of the seal into the Mul-
timask Pro. Fig. 8.2
• Make sure that the seal does not protrude and lies straight in the Multimask Pro, otherwise no sufficient protection can be
guaranteed. Fig. 8.2
Silicone Face Seal
Disassembly Silicone Face Seal: Pull the face seal carefully out of the Multimask Pro.
Assembly Silicone Face Seal: Press the face seal with the sealing profile into the mask frame. Press the triangle on the seal into the
triangle of the mask frame and then press the rest of the profile evenly into the joint of the Multimask Pro.
Instructions:
• Press the face seal with the profile into the Multimask Pro.
• Press the triangle on the silicone seal into the center of the triangle in the mask frame.
• Press the seal to the right, up to the height of the buckle, into the Multimask Pro. Then, starting from the starting point, press
the seal to the left, up to the height of the buckle, into the Multimask Pro. Then press the rest of the seal into the Multimask
Pro.
• Make sure that the seal does not protrude and lies straight in the Multimask Pro, otherwise no sufficient protection can be
guaranteed.
