disconnected from the charger.
After charging
When charging is complete, the battery charger should be discon-
nected from the mains. Always do this by pulling the plug, not the
cable! When this has been done, the connections to the bodywork
and then to the battery are removed.
The acid level should be checked on lead batteries that are not
maintenance-free.
If the fluid level is too low, it must be topped up with distilled
water. Hazard and safety warnings, and instructions from the
manufacturer of the battery, must be observed.

Full description of the charging process

As soon as it has been connected to the mains (230V/50Hz), the
„Mains" („Netz") LED lights up.
Once a 12 volt lead battery (acid, gel, AGM, EXIDE, Hawker) is
connected, the device enters test mode.
If the voltage of a battery that has been connected properly is more
than 14.3V (on a 12V battery) the „Fault" („Defekt") LED and the
„Charge" („Laden") LED both flash.
The device will switch into charging mode if the voltage is in the
range between 0.5...14.3 V (on a 12V battery).
