EASY shot Mode (for Beginners)
Even a beginner can take a picture using the EASY mode.
The EASY mode only operates in CAMERA mode.
1. Set the power switch to CAMERA mode.
2. By pressing the EASY button, all the functions on
the camera will be set to off and the recording settings
will be set to the following basic mode.
Battery level, recording mode, counter, DATE/TIME,
DIS ( ) will be displayed as the camcorder
starts to run.
The word "EASY" will appear on the LCD at the
same time.
However, the DATE/TIME will only be seen if it has
been previously set. (see page 49)
3. Press START/STOP to start recording.
Recording will begin using the basic automatic
environment settings.
4. Pressing the EASY button again turns the EASY mode off.
The camera will return to the settings that were set prior to the
EASY mode being switched on.
Reference
In the EASY mode, certain functions are not available, such as
MENU, BLC, FADE, MF/AF.
- If you want to use these functions, you must first switch
the EASY mode off.
The EASY mode settings are stored in the camera (provided a good
lithium battery has been installed).

EASY-Aufnahmemodus (für Anfänger)
Der EASY-Modus bietet einen besonders leichten Einstieg in die
Verwendung des Camcorders.
Der EASY-Modus funktioniert nur im CAMERA-Modus.
1. Stellen Sie den Betriebsmodus-Schalter auf Position CAMERA.
2. Durch Drücken der Taste EASY werden alle
Funktionen des Camcorders ausgeschaltet, und die
folgenden Aufnahmeeinstellungen für den EASY-
Modus werden aktiviert:
Akkuladezustand, Aufnahmemodus,
EASY
Bandzählwerk, Datum und Uhrzeit sowie der
Bildstabilisator DIS

Datum und Uhrzeit werden jedoch nur angezeigt,
wenn dies vorher so eingestellt wurde (siehe

3. Drücken Sie die Taste START/STOP, um die Aufnahme zu starten.
Die Aufnahme startet; dabei werden die vorgegebenen EASY-
Aufnahmeeinstellungen verwendet.
4. Wenn Sie die Taste EASY noch einmal drücken, wird der EASY-
Modus wieder ausgeschaltet.
Der Camcorder kehrt zu den Einstellungen zurück, die vor
Einschalten des EASY-Modus aktiviert waren.
Hinweise
Bestimmte Funktionen wie MENU, BLC, FADE, MF/AF stehen im
EASY-Modus nicht zur Verfügung.
- Wenn Sie diese Funktionen verwenden möchten, müssen Sie
zuerst den EASY-Modus ausschalten.
Die Einstellungen für den EASY-Modus sind im Camcorder gespe-
ichert (wenn eine Lithiumbatterie eingesetzt ist).
