Advanced Recording
1. Set the camcorder to CAMERA.
2. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
The menu list will appear.
3. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight PHOTO MODE.
4. To select the PHOTO MODE, press the ENTER
button.
The PHOTO MODE switches between
FIELD and FRAME with each press.
5. To exit, press the MENU ON/OFF button.
Taking a still picture
1. Press the PHOTO button.
The still picture appears on the LCD screen or viewfinder.
To quit the PHOTO mode without recording, press the
PHOTO button again.
2. Press the START/STOP button.
The still picture is recorded for about 8 seconds.
3. After the PHOTO recording, PHOTO mode is cancelled.
Reference
To record the still picture, you must press the START/
STOP button.
If you press the PHOTO button in the GHOST or PIP mode
the GHOST or PIP mode will be released.
If you use the PHOTO function, the picture quality may
deteriorate.
Searching for PHOTO pictures
The PHOTO SEARCH works in PLAYER mode only.
1. Press the MENU ON/OFF button.
The menu list will appear.
2. Turn the MENU DIAL to highlight PHOTO SEARCH.
3. Press ENTER to enter the sub-menu.
4. Using the MENU DIAL, select the search direction
Press the ENTER button.
After searching, the camcorder displays the still image and
automatically returns to main menu.
5. To exit, press the MENU ON/OFF button.

Foto-Aufnahme suchen
Die Suchfunktion für Foto-Aufnahmen (PHOTO SEARCH) ist nur im
PLAYER-Modus verfügbar.
1. Drücken Sie die Taste MENU ON/OFF.
Das Menü erscheint.
2. Wählen Sie mit dem Menü-Einstellrad die Option PHOTO SEARCH.
3. Drücken Sie ENTER, um das Untermenü aufzurufen.
4. Wählen Sie mit dem Menü-Einstellrad die Suchrichtung aus.
Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER, um den Suchlauf zu starten.
Nach der Suche zeigt der Camcorder das Foto an. Auf dem Monitor wird
automatisch wieder das Hauptmenü angezeigt.
5. Um das Menü auszublenden, drücken Sie die Taste MENU ON/OFF.
1. Stellen Sie den Betriebsmodus-Schalter auf
SP STBY CAMERA.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste MENU ON/OFF.
Das Menü erscheint.
3. Wählen Sie mit dem Menü-Einstellrad die Option
PHOTO MODE.
4. Drücken Sie die Taste ENTER, um zwischen
den Einstellungen FIELD und FRAME
umzuschalten.
Der Camcorder erfasst ein Einzelbild und zeigt es auf
dem Monitor an.
Um die Fotofunktion zu deaktivieren, ohne eine Aufnahme
zu machen, drücken Sie erneut die Taste PHOTO.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste START/STOP.
Das Einzelbild wird 8 Sekunden lang aufgezeichnet.
3. Anschließend wird die Fotofunktion automatisch deaktiviert.
Hinweise
Das Einzelbild wird erst dann auf das Band aufge-zeichnet,
wenn Sie die Taste START/STOP drücken.
Wenn beim Drücken der Taste PHOTO die PIP-Funktion
oder der GHOST-Effekt aktiviert sind, werden die PIP-
Funktion bzw. der GHOST-Effekt ausgeschaltet.
Bei der Aufzeichnung eines Einzelbilds kann die Bildqualität
geringfügig schlechter sein.
