The master feeder MF1/2 is a wire feeding system that is used in industry and
the trade for the automatic feeding of welding fillers. It essentially comprises a
slave drive module with interfaces for cable assembly and media guide and an
integrated control system or data bus connections and a master feeder. A four-
roll drive is integrated into the master feeder. This autonomous sub-assembly is
tuned specifically to a process torch for feeding welding wires. These operating
instructions only describe the master feeder MF1/2. The master feeder MF1/
2 may only be operated using original ABICOR BINZEL spare parts.
The functioning MF1/2 comprises the following units:
