Troubleshooting
In case of trouble with the unit, please take
the time to look through this chart and see
if you can solve the problem yourself
before you call your dealer or TEAC
service center.
No power.
e Check the connection to the AC wall
outlet.
No sound.
eCheck the connection to the stereo
system.
The sound is noisy.
eThe unit is too close to a TV set or
similar appliances. Install the unit
away from them, or turn them off.
Remote control doesn't work.
eIf the batteries are dead, change the
batteries.
eUse remote control unit within the
range (5m/15ft) and point at the front
panel.
eClear obstacles between the remote
control unit and the main unit.
eIf a strong light is near the unit, turn it
off.
Cannot play.
eLoad a disc with label side up.
eIf the disc is dirty, clean the surface
of the disc.
eA blank disc has been loaded. Load a
prerecorded disc.
Sound skips.
ePlace the unit on a stable place to
avoid vibration and shock.
eIf the disc is dirty, clean the surface
of the disc.
e Don't use scratched, damaged or
warped discs.
If normal operation cannot be recovered,
unplug the power cord from the outlet and
plug it again.

Dépannage
En cas de problème, commencer par
chercher dans ce tableau pour voir si on
peut trouver soi-même la solution avant de
contacter le revendeur ou le centre de
service client TEAC.
Pas d'alimentation.
e Vérifier
le
raccordement
l'appareil à la prise CA.
Aucun son ne sort des enceintes.
e Vérifier le raccordement à la chaîne
stéréo.
Le son est déformé.
e L'appareil est placé à proximité d'un
téléviseur ou d'un autre appareil de
même type. Eloignez l'appareil de
ceux-ci ou débranchez les.
La télécommande ne fonctionne pas.
e Si les piles sont usées, changez les.
e Utilisez la télécommande à une
distance d'environ 5 m (15 ft) de
l'appareil et la diriger vers le
panneau avant de celui-ci.
e Dégagez les obstacles qui se
trouvent entre la télécommande et
l'unité principale
e Si un éclairage puissant se trouve à
proximité de l'appareil, éteignez-le.
L'appareil ne lit pas le disque.
e Placer le disque dans le tiroir en
veillant à ce que l'étiquette se trouve
vers le haut.
e Si le disque est sale, nettoyer la
surface du disque.
e Vous avez chargé un disque vierge
dans l'appareil. Chargez un disque
pré-enregistré
Le son saute.
e Mettre l'appareil sur une surface
plane de manière à éviter toute
vibration ou choc.
e Si le disque est sale, nettoyer la
surface du disque.
e Ne pas utiliser de disque rayé, abîmé
ou voilé.
Si vous ne parvenez pas à rétablir un
fonctionnement normal, débrancher le
cordon d'alimentation et le rebrancher.
