Error

Fault/Cause
You have moved your arm or body
briefly during the reading or you
have spoken.
You have taken the reading
immediately after physical exertion.
This is built into the system.
This is normal. If the user's blood
pressure that is being measured is
higher than the initial value of the
sleeve pressure, the unit will
automatically continue to pump.
The pressure build-up will occur in
stages of 20 mmHg, until a suitable
pressure for the reading has been
reached.
The sleeve is not correctly fitted or is
not tight enough.
Solution/Explanation
Do not move while the reading is
being taken. Do not talk.
Do not take any reading immediately
after physical exertion.
Press the START/STOP key again
and re-take the reading.
Fit the sleeve correctly
(see Ch. 9.1, pp. 13-14).
