2. Mechanical installation
Position the UPS system on an even, stable surface for its final location. For the rack tower versa-
tile models, proceed as shown in the diagrams below:

3. Electrical installation
The UPS system carries life-threatening voltages. All repair and maintenance work must be
carried out by customer service personnel.
Always connect the earth conductor first.
Comply with regional legislation and rules on connecting electrical devices.
