Press "Menu" repeatedly until the set
fan output appears. The factory setting
is 40 %, intended for recirculation air
mode with side air intake and side air
discharge. You must adjust the fan speed
when connecting an air duct or in re-
circulation air mode with top air intake
and/or top air discharge.
Adjust the fan's maximum operating
speed (as a percentage) using "Plus"
and "Minus". Read off the value on your
actual system using the diagram below.

11.1.2 Filling the DHW cylinder
Fill the DHW cylinder and vent the pipework by following the
procedure below:
f Close the drain valve.
f
f Open all DHW draw-off points and the shut-off valve in the
f
cold water supply.
f Close the DHW draw-off points as soon as water comes out
f
of them.
f Check the safety valve by leaving it open until water runs out.
f
11.1.3 Settings / function check
f Switch the power supply ON.
f
f Check the appliance function.
f
f Check the function of the safety assembly.
f
After completing the function check, reducing the set DHW tem-
perature helps to save energy.
f Establish the customer's comfort requirements and adjust
f
the set DHW temperature accordingly. For hygiene reasons,
never set the DHW temperature below 50 °C.
f If the appliance draws in outdoor air, check whether the
f
"runtime-dependent rapid heat-up" function should be ena-
bled on the basis of the anticipated air intake temperatures
and the expected DHW consumption (see chapter "Settings/
Settings/Runtime-dependent rapid heat-up").
When the air intake temperature drops, the heat pump's heating
output is reduced and the heat-up time is extended. In the case
of installation with outdoor air intake, we recommend enabling
"runtime-dependent rapid heat-up" during the winter months and
as required in spring/autumn when outside temperatures are low.
Note that DHW heating with the electric emergency/booster heater
uses more power than just using the heat pump.

To prevent excessive power consumption, disable the function
in summer and in spring/autumn if possible. To avoid increased
power consumption, only reduce the factory-set time for runt-
ime-dependent rapid heat-up if necessary.

11.1.4 Appliance handover

f Explain the appliance function to users and familiarise them
f
with its operation.
f Make users aware of potential dangers, especially the risk of
f
scalding.
f Make users aware of critical environmental factors and re-
f
quirements concerning the installation site.
f If operating with an outdoor air intake, advise the appliance
f
Fan output
50 %
user that high relative humidity levels can damage the fabric
46 %
of the building. If outdoor air is used as a heat source when
outside temperatures are low, condensate may form on the
appliance if the relative humidity is unusually high, i.e. in
excess of 75 % and with a room temperature of 22 °C. Such
high relative humidity levels will damage the fabric of the
building and must be prevented by ventilation.
f Inform the user that enabling the "runtime-dependent rapid
f
heat-up" function results in higher power consumption. The
function should be deactivated during the summer and in
spring/autumn if at all possible to prevent excessive power
consumption. To avoid increased power consumption, only
reduce the factory-set time for runtime-dependent rapid
heat-up if necessary.
f Inform users that water may drip from the safety valve dur-
f
ing the heat-up process.
f Please note that the appliance is not protected against frost
f
and corrosion when it is disconnected from the power sup-
ply. If voltage is supplied to the impressed current anode and
the PCB separately, the appliance remains protected against
corrosion.
f Hand over these operating and installation instructions to
f
users for safekeeping.

11.2 Recommissioning

If the appliance is switched off due to an interruption to the power
supply, no specific measures for restarting are required once the
power supply has been restored. The appliance has saved the
parameters most recently set and continues operating with these.
If the rapid/comfort heating function was active prior to power
supply interruption, this is re-enabled with a set temperature of
65 °C once the power supply has been restored.
Emergency mode is not reactivated after an interruption to the
power supply.
Note
Following an interruption to the power supply, compres-
sor operation remains blocked for at least one minute.
The PCB delays the electrical start-up by one minute,
during which the appliance initialises.
If the compressor subsequently fails to start, it may be
locked out by additional safety devices (motor overload
relay and high pressure switch). This block should lift
after 1 to 10 minutes.
